What You Get Instead of a Spare
Every hybrid CR-V ships with a tire repair kit: a sealant canister and a small 12-volt compressor that lives where the spare would sit. It is lighter, it takes up less room, and for the failure most people actually have it works.
The honest limit is what it cannot do. Sealant reinflates a tread puncture from a nail or a screw. It does nothing for a sidewall tear, a shredded tire or a wheel bent on a pothole. Those are a tow, not a roadside repair, whatever is in the back.

Does This Actually Matter Around Clarksville?
